Kutaisi, Prometheus and Sataflia. One day excursion from Tbilisi

You will be picked up from your hotel at 07:30 AM and will arrive in Kutaisi at 09:00 AM. First, you will stop at the Gelati Monastery, built by the most powerful Georgian King David the Builder. Marvel at this architectural masterpiece from the Middle Ages. Visit the grave of the king and learn about his last will left for generations. Tbilisi is the capital of Georgia, translated from the Georgian “warm source”, the old name is Tiflis. It is the largest city of Georgia, located on the banks of the Kura River with a population of over 1 million people. The city was founded in the 5th century.   • Sataflia Nature Reserve is located 10 km from the city of Kutaisi on the slopes of an extinct volcano - Sataplia Mountain. In the 30s of the twentieth century, traces of dinosaurs were found here. There are karst caves and a beautiful Colchis forest.
